Product Designer in United Kingdom

Job description

Senior / Lead Product Designer – Native Apps

We’re partnering with a rapidly scaling, Series-B funded tech company that’s building a new AI-powered outfit builder app. Think: “I’ve got a wedding this weekend, show me the perfect outfit” …and the app instantly recommends looks from partner stores.

This is a contract role for a Senior or Lead Product Designer who can take a strong early vision and turn it into a beautiful, consumer-ready experience.

The Challenge

  • Take an early proof-of-concept and help shape the next stage of the product.
  • Create an engaging, visually striking B2C mobile app experience that feels “sexy”, fun and intuitive.
  • Work closely with the VP Product and a distributed engineering team (Mexico, Colombia, New York) while keeping to UK working hours.
  • Bring your own thinking: translate a high-level concept into polished, user-centred flows and stunning UI.

What You’ll Bring

  • Senior-level product design experience with B2C mobile apps.
  • Strong end-to-end skills: concepting, UX thinking, and pixel-perfect visual design.
  • Expertise in Figma and modern product-design toolkits.
  • Ability to work autonomously and communicate clearly with a fully remote, international team.
  • A portfolio that shows creative flair and a keen eye for consumer appeal.

Contract Details

  • Location: Fully remote (must be in a UK / GMT time max +1 zone).
  • Duration: Initial proof-of-concept expected to be a couple of weeks’ solid work, with strong potential to extend into the next build phase.
  • Day rate: £500 per day (outside IR35).
